Episode 83: The Intern Who Never Sleeps and Writes Hashtags

One wrong click deleted a full recording, so I’m coming to you from my phone with a very real reminder: creators don’t need more pressure, we need better systems. That’s where AI has earned a spot in our workflow at Turn the Paige. I’m walking through exactly how we use ChatGPT and other AI features as a practical assistant across our podcast, Instagram content, Pinterest marketing, monthly newsletter, book club, Etsy shop, and our Squarespace website.

I break it down into the specific areas where AI saves us time without stealing our personality: brainstorming when we have a feeling but not a clean topic, getting what’s already in our heads out through a fast brain dump, and supporting writing so it sounds polished while still sounding like us. We also talk about repurposing content so one podcast can turn into multiple pins and posts, plus the unglamorous admin tasks like SEO excerpts, formatting, proofreading, titles, descriptions, hashtags, and strong CTAs. If you’ve ever spent hours trying to write the perfect caption or podcast summary, you’ll recognise the relief.

We also get into research and growth, including how we use AI to find resources, draft professional outreach, and think through brand aligned sponsorship ideas during the podcast monetisation process. And if you’re navigating ADHD and entrepreneurship, I share how AI helps with organising, clarifying, and staying focused when hyperfixation hits. The biggest takeaway is the boundary: AI can assist, but it cannot replace our opinions, lived experiences, humour, or real conversation.

Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s building something, and leave a review so more listeners can find us. What’s one task you wish AI could take off your plate?
